I can't get post templates working properly

I have tried sooo many times to use the post template to make it easier for me...but i just can't get it working properly. I have 2 templates..single and archive. Maybe they're causing an issue? It's definitely not as simple as the videos for me. 

 

Please help...I'll pay hard cash to solve!

Can i create a post, copy and then change to save all this time??

  Thank you for all the details you have shared above. You have mentioned above that you can't get the Brizy Templates working properly. I could not find any problem with your Portfolio Listing template and single post template. Please see my test here https://jmp.sh/AGzGBTmY

  Please give us more information about what is not working.
