Full width dynamic hero slider / Home page.
Hi Guys,
Trying to create a dynamic full width hero slider that will display the latest two posts for the Home page of a site. Appearing to be very difficult to achieve this.
I have tried to use the post element for this but it appears as though you can not apply a dynamic image to the column background for whatever reason. Probably would have been able to make a slider work if this was possible.
Things to note:
This is just a simple "Home Page" there is other information on the page so a "Brizy posts template" or "blog template" is not suitable here.
I am aware that a dynamic image can be applied to the background of columns when using/creating brizy post templates. To be clear that is not what I am after.
If you have any ideas on how to achieve something like this please let me know.
Additionally, can you re upload the link from the following ticket, it would be interesting to see how you achieved this.
Thanks

Hi Oli,
You can't use the Brizy Posts element to implement a slider. I think it would be difficult to implement a dynamic slider that you are looking for with Brizy.
Please consider using the Smart Slider 3 plugin to implement this design. You can use this template with their free version.

Hi,
Ok thanks, do you guys have any plans to implement a dynamic slider feature in the future?
Also can you re upload the link from
As this is also an issue and I need to know the work around.
Thank you

Hi Oli,
In the community post you have mentioned above, the topic was different; it was about setting the featured image as the background in the Posts element and adding the Post Title in the front. The video I had made would not solve the problem we are discussing in this thread.
You can setup a full width post slider using the Brizy Carousel element. Please have a look at this page for an example. https://brizytest.online/post-carousel Here is the procedure. https://jmp.sh/oq0tY0fm

Hi,
I am aware that the topic of the video is different to that of the slider.
This is still something I would like to know the workaround to though, please re upload the link.
Thank you for your help.

Hi Oli,
The video in the post you have mentioned is lost. The idea was to give a negative margin to the blog post title to display it on top of the featured image (similar to the procedure I have explained in the above video with the Carousel element)
