    Hi Jose,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Please try the following and see if this will help.

    1. Try temporarily switching to another theme to see if this will resolve the issue.
    2. If switching themes, didn't help, also, try to disable all other plugins besides Brizy and Brizy Pro, and see if this makes any difference.

If all the above fails, please provide temporary access to your WP Admin credentials, so we can further check the issue. Add us as a user to your WordPress Dashboard and send the following details to:  communitysupport@brizy.io

    I created an admin user.

I changed the theme, no change. I disabled all plugins, no change.

The issue seems to be on the homepage which has javascript code placed using the "embed" element. This code has had no issue for the last two years, and renders fine.  I took another page that I am able to edit with the Brizy editor, cloned it, then placed the embed element on the bottom and added the javascript code, and it immediate goes blank (white) before saving/updating the page. If you want I can post the code I am using here. This code has been used for two years and hasn't changed.

    Hi Jose,

    Thank you for the update.

Could you please confirm your website URL, as our email address communitysupport@brizy.io receives several login details from different users? We would like to ensure that we log in to the correct one.

I am looking forward to your response.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

FYI, I just had this same issue with another site that required a javascript be embeded for a button that allows people to book an appointment.

    Hi Jose,

    Thank you for the update.

We have initiated a password reset on your site, however, Two-Factor Authentication is enabled, so we were unable to inspect your site.

However, we've received similar issues before where some embedded scripts no longer work in the new updates.

As a temporary workaround, please uninstall both Brizy and Brizy Pro and install the following older versions and see if this will address the issue.

    Brizy 2.4.15: https://jmp.sh/ekipsC8i
    Brizy Pro 2.4.14: https://jmp.sh/HkyItjto

If this resolves the issue, you may need to reach out to the authors of the custom script, so they can help you modify the code to work with the latest versions of Brizy and Brizy Pro.

    I hope this helps.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

I did do the downgrade and I am able to see the edit, except the "embed element" that holds the javascripts are not visible--it still renders the page correctly. I am the writer of the scripts, and would have no idea where to begin editing them so they "work with Brizy". I have no idea what you changed in your latest update to cause this issue.

In addition, it isn't only my script. I have a client who is a massage therapist that was given a small button script by the host of her appointment booking site, and the issue is there for her as well.  I tried a work around for the button by using WPCode to create a shortcode, and use the shortcode element, and it doesn't white out the page editor, but it just doesn't render the button for the public. Am I supposed to ask them to edit their code to work with Brizy as well?

I have no idea what happened, but after mucking about, I cloned the home page which has the code, deleted it, used the clone to rebuild the javascript used, with the downgraded Brizy and it is working and editable again. I tried to upgrade again and as soon as I do the issue comes back. I had to again delete the latest version and downgrade. That is where I am at the moment. I am considering doing the same thing for the massage client and see if that helps. I have not tried to mess with the short code issues yet.

I took the time and downgraded the massage client to the 2.4.15/2.4.14 plugins and it working without issue. It the shortcode still did not work, but that might be the WPCode plugin, I don't know because I am not that familiar with it.

    Hi Jose,

    Thank you for the update.

Could you please temporarily disable two-factor authentication, so we can log in to your site and see if there's something we can do to fix it?

I am looking forward to your response.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

I created a 10 day grace period for the 2FA, so it should allow you in.

    Hi Jose,

    Thank you for waiting.

Upon checking, the WP Code plugin has nothing to do with the issue.  This issue is caused by the JS code that was embedded in the home page.

I suggest that you reach out to the developers of this custom JS code, so they can further investigate the issue and possibly offer a solution.
As much as we wanted to help, custom code is beyond the scope of our support.

Meanwhile, please consider using the current older versions, so you can modify your home page.

If you have any further questions, please let us know.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.
