Using WL - Where can I find optimized image specs for the blocks i want to use when building websites?
Say, I select the general blocks I want for a new website.
Then, I hire a photographer to capture what I want communicated in said image.s within each block...
Where do I find the specs to provide to the photographer for each shot i'm requesting?
For example:
- hero shot
- background image for entire blocks
- features
I get that there's a percentage applied instead of actual sizes (which is confusing)... but I just want to know what the actual specs are for the desktop version of the website's blocks.
Where do I find that info? Thanks. :)

Hi Sophie,
The ideal size for background images is 1920 pixels wide and 1080 pixels high. This ratio of 16:9 will fill the surface of the webpage without compromising the quality of the image. There should be at least 72 pixels per inch (ppi) in the image. Please review this page for more detailed suggestions Best image size for websites in 2023
Photographers who use modern cameras are likely to shoot photos at a much higher resolution and size. You can resize those images to the requires height and width later. Consider using a service like https://bulkresizephotos.com/ for resizing images.
