Blog element: Is there a setting for how many words it displays?

When I put the blog element on my home page, it shows a photo and a few lines of text from the blot post. Can I set somewhere / somehow how many words of text it displays?

  Hi,
  Thanks for the link, that's very nice. That's certainly a very useful plug-in, but it's also quite complicated to set up. 

  Isn't there a direct setting option in Brizy? There must be, surely many people use a blog...?

  Hi Hinrich,

  Since the blog post excerpt is a WordPress function, you can't customize it in Brizy.
