Apple Pay Verification File
Hi Brizy,
As part of the Apple Pay Verification, I need to upload a verification file to my website and host the verification file at my domain/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association
Is there a way to upload verification files for us to use? If not, please consider this a feature request, as even if using Ecwid, we still need a way to host the verification file at the domain level.
Thanks,
Glen

Hi Glen,
The web server file system is not accessible with Brizy Cloud and other cloud-based builders. Therefore, it is not possible to upload a verification file.
However, if you publish your Brizy Cloud project using either 'HTML Export' or '3rd Party Free Hosting' you should be able to upload the file to /.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association.

Thank you for your reply George.
I suspected as much. I'm sure there are some very clever folks working on the dev side and they can figure out a solution for verification files if given the task. However, I'd understand it if Apple was just not a priority to support. Please just consider this a feature request for Brizy Cloud.
Thanks,
Glen

Now that there is a way to upload media and files, could there be a way to do this soon? I just tried to upload the apple verification file and the file type was not accepted. I received an "Unable to upload file" error. The number of clients requesting this is increasing. Hopefully this is something that can be accomplished soon. Thanks. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Just checking to see if this update is still in motion. Any additional information on this?

Hi Janeiro,
Thank you for contacting us.
Apple Pay requires a special verification file to be placed in the website’s file system at:
https://yourdomain.com/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association
Since Brizy Cloud does not provide direct access to the file system, it's not possible to verify Apple Pay on a Brizy Cloud-hosted site. An alternative solution would be to use a subdomain (e.g., shop.mydomain.com).
If you want to use Apple Pay, you can set up a subdomain like shop.mydomain.com on a different hosting platform that allows file uploads:
1. Set up a subdomain (e.g., shop.mydomain.com) with a hosting provider that supports Apple Pay verification.
2. Upload the verification file to '/well-known/' on the subdomain, following the steps in this guide: https://kb.katalys.com/shop/enabling-apple-pay.
3. Verify the subdomain in the Apple Developer Portal to enable Apple Pay.
4. Integrate Apple Pay with your checkout system.
5. In Brizy Cloud, link your products or services to the corresponding product or service page on https://shop.mydomain.com.
If you have any further questions, please let us know.
Best regards,
Ariel H.0
