Images from embed html element are not displaying

Embedded code with img src fails to display images on front end.

We need somehow we can resolve the lazy load issue on a page that pulls the images in

https://www.hostelworld.com/blog/backpacking-europe/

We can't make all these images background images. Lazy load stops the icons appearing. KC George, if you change the data-src to src in inspect element, the images appear.

Do you have any advice on this?

  Hi David,

  The HTML code you are embedding from an external source can have a conflict with the code Brizy generates on the page.

  The option to enable/disable lazy loading is still in our list of tasks to complete. We have not yet started working on it.

  When you say  "Lazy load stops the icons appearing" what exactly do you mean? Do you have an example?

  You seem to be using SG Optimizer plugin. Enabling the "Minify Javascript Files" option under SG Optimizer - Frontend can cause issues on your pages. https://jmp.sh/zCgTD3jw Please ensure that this option is disabled.

  Hi there,

  I removed the app and it made no change to the appearance on the page.

  What is missing?

  If you right click the page you will see img src= elements that are no displaying. This includes SVG icons, images, all sorts of items that are pulled through using the edit html element on the pages linked.

  You will see when you right click. SG optimiser doesn’t work on our back end, so the app has no impact.

  I will check again, but I don’t see it as the issue as it has always been there.

  Can you give me few examples of icon/image URLs of missing icons/images. I am unable to locate a missing icon/image.
