How to clear text format or clear the highlight

How do I remove this format? I can change the text color but not the highlight. 
Also, Is there a way to clear the text format? Thanks.

  Hi Amata,

  Thank you for reaching out to us.

  Upon checking, this issue occurs when you copy text from another text editor, it will also copy the text formatting  when you paste it into the Brizy text element.  

  If you want to remove all formatting from your text before pasting it into WordPress, you can use a plain text editor like Notepad or TextEdit to strip out all the formatting before copying and pasting into WordPress.
