Question abut carousel and post widgets
HI,
I have questions about the carousel widget and the posts widget. The first question is whether it is possible to use it as a data source for a specific post type for a carousel widget? Currently, only categories can be used as a data source. Second question: Is it possible to create a "carousel" from a post widget? To make posts scroll automatically, without having to select a page from pagination? And last questions. Is it possible for the post widget to reload the next page using AJAX, rather than reloading the entire page and then going back to the top as it currently does? Hi Kazimierz,
Thank you for reaching out to us. Here are the responses to your queries:
1. Using a post type as a data source is currently not supported in Brizy Builder.
2. The ability to create a carousel directly from a post widget is not available in Brizy Builder at the moment.
3. The post element in Brizy Builder does not currently have AJAX loading functionality to load the next page without reloading the entire page.We understand that these features may be important for your specific needs. While they are not included in the default features of Brizy Builder, we would like to suggest exploring third-party plugins that can extend Brizy Builder's functionality. These plugins may provide the desired layout and behavior you are seeking - https://shapedplugin.com/post-carousel-slider/
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi Ariel,
At least add a fix so that when the pagination is reloaded, the page returns to the position where the posts widget is located and does not go back to the top...

Hi Ariel,
I'll see if I can add AJAX support to your posts widget? I'll take a look in PHPStorm to see what you wrote. Are you interested in the fix? I don't want to install additional plugins...

Hi Kazik,
Thank you for the update.
If you can independently address the problem, we are open to your solution. We understand the importance of this feature, allowing for seamless pagination between blog post pages without the need for page refresh. Another user has also submitted a request for this feature enhancement, and it is presently in progress on our task list. Unfortunately, we don't have an exact timeline for when this feature will be available. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Best regards,

Hi Ariel,
To open a new page after reloading the WP page in the place of the widget from which the reload was triggered, just add ...\#id (block widget) in the link address. Can you make such a correction for pagination for the post widget? I'll fix it soon, but after the upgrade my fix will disappear :(.

Hi Ariel,
The code fragment responsible for the link address in pagination is generated on the fly (builder.min.js) and placed in brizy_blank_template.php. Guys, without access to the js source files I can't fix this error. Can you fix this error quickly?
