Page can't be edited (blank/empty) but it is visible to the public

Suddenly today I can't edit the page. Click the 'Edit with Brizy' button, which will open the editor with a loading animation, then the page is empty. It was working okay yesterday. Not sure why. I have a copy (dev/staging version) of the site, which is a few days older, and it has the same issue. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are aware of this issue and are currently working on a solution to address it.  I will get back to you as soon as I receive an update.

    Meanwhile, please revert to earlier versions of both Brizy and Brizy Pro. You can use these files to roll back to the previous versions

    Please follow this procedure to roll back.

    1. Deactivate and delete Brizy Pro
    2. Deactivate and delete Brizy
    3. Download Brizy 2.4.15 and in your WordPress Dashboard under Plugins - Add New - Upload Plugin, upload Brizy
    4. Download Brizy Pro 2.4.14 and under Plugins - Add New - Upload Plugin, upload Brizy Pro

    OK. After downgrading to brizy.2.4.15 and brizy-pro-2.4.14, the pages are now editable. I noticed that only some pages were affected by the issue, not all pages. I hope this issue will be fixed in the next Brizy & Brizy Pro releases. Thanks.

    Do you know which Brizy elements causing this empty page issue above? Because I noticed some of the pages are okay with the latest Brizy/Brizy Pro plugins. Only a few pages have this issue. So I'm guessing there are some Brizy elements that are causing this.

    Also, Brizy 2.4.15 and Brizy Pro 2.4.14 are about 2 versions older. I hope that older plugins are not causing any security issues.

    Hi Manu,

    Thank you for the update.

    It is a script that was embedded somewhere in the footer area to display the year.
    I have successfully modified the script for some users and addressed the issue.
    I can have a look at those pages too on your website if you give me temporary access to your WP Admin login details and help you modify the script.

    can I now update Brizy 2.4.18 & Brizy Pro 2.4.17? The page blank issue is fixed now?

    Hi Manu,

    If you are using a JavaScript code to display the current year on your webpages, please remove the embed code before updating Brizy and Brizy Pro to its latest versions. Once you update to the latest Brizy versions, please contact us, we will give you a alternate code which you can embed to your footer to display the current year.

    I have removed the JS to display the current year & updated the latest Brizy & Brizy Pro.

    Please let me know the alternative JS script that work.
