    Hello Ariel

I was hoping not to have to delete the footer and have to recreate this. Can Brizy not edit the code to remove the document.write() function from my footer?

    Hi Ray,

Can you please share with us the Project Name and the Preview URL of your project in the Brizy Cloud Dashboard, so we can further check the issue?

I am looking forward to your response.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

Firstly please see my first comment:

PLEASE DO NOT SHOW THE LINK ON LINE!

The info is Health Hub located in folder: 1. Tim's Websites

    xxx

For some reason the link goes to the actual website, I don't seem to be able to change the link in the Brizy dashboard. You might need me to setup a login for you.

Also I notice the support reply notification is going to my old email, I have changed my email login to a different email address, I don't understand.

    Hi Ray,

    We appreciate your patience.

We have now resolved the issue, could you please try it again at your end to confirm?

Ariel that's great project resurrected and code is gone, project is now editable. Although one or two unresolved issues that haven't been answered.

    1. The link to the site wasn't hidden as I requested  (I've now done this)
    2. My email used for the support forum.
    3. The project link

Please see previous comments in this thread for further information.

    Hi Ray,

I have changed the email used for the support forum. Please check if you receive notification for this comment in your new email address.

For some reason the link goes to the actual website, I don't seem to be able to change the link in the Brizy dashboard. You might need me to setup a login for you.

I am sorry, I could not fully understand your request here. Can you elaborate a bit more? Which link are you referring to? Can you share a screenshot to help us understand the issue better?

Yes new email is now receiving Brizy notifications, great!

The link (to project) was previous in Brizy comment by me, I have now changed it (now seen as xxx)

If you provide an email address I will provide login for you.

    Hi Ray,

My colleague gave me the preview link you had in your comment. The link opens the website homepage. I have these questions.

    • Do you expect the preview link to open another page?
    • What is the purpose of the preview link?
    • What is the issue you feel you are facing about the preview link?

The website lives on private hosting not Brizy. The link should show the project so that when I preview it I see the edits, I repeat, the website is not linked to the project. I should be able to change it to have it as a Brizy project name. e.g. https://bear9999.brizy.site/ (not actual project name)

I have tried to change this when publishing to a Brizy sub domain but it doesn't change. I think this is a bug.

    Hi Ray,

If you have published your project using the Server Sync option, the preview URL will take you to the Server Sync website. Please visit the brizy.site URL of your project to see the changes you are making to your Brizy Cloud project

No I haven't used server sync. If you bother to check you will see. This must be a bug.

Q1: If I had used server sync how would this be removed?

Also can you please not use links to any of my websites or projects, please remove the last link you used. I needed you can send them to me via email.

    Thank you.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

Update: I have duplicated the project and it has given a brizy project domain (xxx.brizy.site). So I have got around the issue. But I still believe a bug needs to be reported.

    Hi Ray,

Please get back to us with the steps to reproduce the bug at our end. We will report it.

I do not understand why you have made these comments.

I have reported all information in this thread.

I will state once again the issue, then it is up to Brizy to sort out an issue I raise.

    • I have not used Server Sync option
    • The website lives on private hosting not Brizy, so has no connection to the project
    • The project link should show the Brizy project address: e.g. xxx.brizy.site
    • The fact that I cannot change the project address means there is an issue.

If you cannot understand what I am saying then pass it on to a different person. Perhaps Brizy do not address small issues, but this could affect many projects.

    Hi Ray,

Before we label it a bug, we need to be able to replicate the issue the user is experiencing at our end. If you are aware of the steps leading up to this incident, kindly let us know. We'll try to reproduce it using the same steps, report it, and work towards a bug fix.

If you believe it was an isolated incident that cannot be repeated, it is difficult to fix it.

If you provide me your email I will set up a login for you, and you can try to change to a Brizy project address for yourself: e.g. xxx.brizy.site.

Maybe there was originally a server sync, I have experimented with some sites ( I cannot say which, I do not remember).

    Hi Ray,

We have administrative access to your projects. I have seen your project.  As I previously stated, we will have to treat this as an isolated incident until we can find the steps to reproduce the issue on another project.
