Server Sync doesn't work or takes too long
Hello
On many sites created in Brizy Cloud I have noticed that synchronisation takes extremly long or doesn't work at all. Therefore I usually upload html files. But this is not very convinient and it would be better to use Server Sync.
Here is a website which is suposed to be sinced with Brizy, but changes don't show up even after 24 hours: https://www.odiv.si/ There should be another phone number and some other smaller changes, but it is not there... see the screen print of the website where another phone number should be: https://paste.pics/P5VC1 and here is how it looks on the preview page: https://pineapple7596805.brizy.site/ with the added phone number.
So changes have obviously been saved in brizy, it is not in draft mode and sinc worked the first time when it was uploaded.
And as I wrote bfore, this is a common issue with server sync. Please checkt this problem as it is anoying and the only option to get arroud this is to upload html files every time a change is made. Is there some way to trigger the sinc process on the webpage?
Best regards,
Jernej

Hi Jernej,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Unfortunately, there are issues in server sync that are currently ongoing and may take some time to resolve. Rest assured that we are aware of this issue, and we are working towards a solution.
Meanwhile, to initiate the synchronization process, we recommend logging in to your remote site using FTP or the File Manager in your hosting control panel. Once logged in, navigate to the root directory of your website and delete the files within the /var and /cache subdirectories. After completing this step, return to your pages and update them.
Please try this and let me know how it goes.

Hello
When do you expect this issue to be resolved?
The point of using the server sync is not having to access the server.
In this case I don't even have access to this server so I will have to ask someone who does to do what you suggest. And if there are any new changes, then again...Best regards

Hi Jernej,
Thank you for the update.

Anything new regarding this issue?

Hi Jernej,
Thank you for keeping in touch.
Unfortunately, we haven't had any progress on the server sync issue at the moment.
As a temporary solution, we suggest removing the files within the /var and /cache subdirectories each time you update your pages. We understand the need for a seamless page update process without having to access the server, and we recognize that this is an area that may require more time to address.Once again, we extend our apologies for any inconvenience this situation may have caused.

Hello
After updating the website odiv.si (https://pineapple7596805.brizy.site/ project https://www.brizy.cloud/projects/7596805/) connected with Server Sync, the website is no longer available.
I tried to update it several times, but no change.
The problem is I don't have access to the server and can't replace the files there. Please chech this issue and let me know how to solve it.

Hi Jernej,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Unfortunately, we are unable to verify this issue without having access to the server where your website is hosted. To conduct a thorough investigation, we will require FTP/SSH access or access to the hosting panel.
Please let us know if you can provide us with the necessary access.
I am looking forward to your response.
Best regards,

I can't provide the data to access the server, because even I don't have it. The owner doesn't want to grant access because of some delicate data on this server.
But the server sinc is not working on other websites and servers also, so this is not so much server issue as it is the problem with server sinc.
I hope you will be able to resolve the problem with syncing projects as soon as possible.
Regards,
Jernej

Hi Jernej,
Thank you for keeping in touch.
We are currently in the process of rebuilding the sync feature to address the current issues. Unfortunately, we do not have a specific timeframe for its completion at the moment. As a temporary solution, I recommend connecting your domain name to Brizy Cloud using the instructions provided here: https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360041764052-Custom-domain-A-Record-Redirect-
Alternatively, you can use the Export HTML feature and ask your client to upload and extract their website files onto their server. You can find more information on how to export HTML here:
https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360026945332-Export-HTMLI apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to let me know.
Best regards,
