Recaptcha
Hi,
Google's recaptcha solution that you offer in your forms is not legal in Europe under the GDPR law. (...and there is a good chance that recapcha is illegal in all states protecting the privacy of citizens...)
Can you consider offering an alternative to this service?
Thanks in advance
Patrick

Hi Patrick,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
To comply with GDPR, Google reCAPTCHA requires that the user gives consent before any data is collected or processed. When a user interacts with a form with reCAPTCHA enabled, they must be presented with a clear and concise notice that explains the purpose of the data collection, what data will be collected and processed, and how it will be processed. After that, the user must expressly agree to the collection and processing of their data.

Hi Ariel
Recaptcha itself is not GDPR compliant if only because Google saves the data outside the EU (it's the same problem encountered by Google Annalytic)
There are other reasons, I let you read the following article: https://mon-dpo-externe.com/la-solution-google-recaptcha-est-elle-illegale/ (thanks to google translation;) )0 -
Hi Patrick,
Thank you for the update.
I understand your concerns about reCAPTCHA.
We do not have a built-in solution for this at this time, but there are alternative solutions you can try.
