Pro license terms
Good afternoon Brizy team,
For some context, I am currently in the process of making myself a freelancer and setting up my small web design business. In many ways, definitely thanks to Brizy, your awesome product, and your team!! :)
And this ticket is regarding a second product I thought of offering. Besides the option of designing and maintaining client sites myself, which will be my main focus, I was wondering about this other option for more hands-on clients. So I would like to clarify your use terms for my pro licenses, if you are so kind as to confirm the following.
I am planning to design some website layouts/starter kits to offer to clients who are not looking for a custom-made website design service.
I would design each page of a website and use dummy content (text and images for it) as a presentation.
My intention would be to sell those templates as starter kits for others to have a starting point when building their own website.
I would import those templates onto the client’s WordPress installation and activate a Brizy Pro license myself.
So the client would never have access to my own Brizy Pro account but instead would be using one of my licenses to run their website.
The client would then be able to edit the content as they wish, to match their needs.
For example, if I have a Resume design template, I would import this design into the client’s website. Then the client would login to his own WordPress account and be able to customize and update his Resume himself.
I understand that the client would not have access to Brizy support and any questions would come to me directly.
But before I start, I just wanted to confirm that this is acceptable under your terms of use for my plan. Or if I would be the only person able to make changes to a design on a website that uses one of my licenses?
Also, just to double-check. I wasn’t planning to use the white-label option for this. I will advise that the page has been built with Brizy but just want to confirm that’s ok too.
Thank you very much in advance for your time and support.
Best wishes, Sofia

Hi Sofia,
Let me summarize what I have understood. When a user purchases one of your starter sites, you import it into their WordPress instance and activate one of your Brizy Pro licenses on their website Your customers are allowed to modify the website design using Brizy. If one of your client websites have a bug/ issue, they will contact you. If you cannot resolve the issue yourself, you contact us and we will offer our support to you.
The above use case is identical to how all our Freelance/ Agency customers use Brizy licenses. Their Brizy licenses are installed on their client websites and if there are issues on their Brizy websites, the Freelancer/ Agency contact us for support and not their clients. This looks like a fair use of Brizy licenses.
If you are on one of our annual subscription plans, your clients will have access to Brizy licences as long as you keep renewing your Brizy subscription every year. If a client demands that they want ownership of the Brizy license on their website, they must buy a Brizy plan themselves and replace your Brizy license with theirs.

Hi KC George,
Indeed, I have two agency lifetime plans. So this is fine.
Thank you so much for confirming and clarifying my doubts :)
Have a lovely day, Sofia
