    Hi Jace

Can you make your video work with a Gutenberg page first and test it on a mobile? If it works on a Gutenberg page, please get back to us. We will explain the procedure to give your Gutenberg page a Brizy design.

Brizy seems to use a different video player block than Gutenberg, is there a way I can install a plugin to get a different video player block in Brizy? (Reminder that it is the fullscreen button that isn't responding for Brizy on mobile.)

    Hi Jace,

If you could add your video to the Gutenberg editor using any media player, please follow this procedure to give the video page a Brizy design. https://jmp.sh/scJ1QsAA

So I need to do this “fix” for all 60 video posts?

Is this a known bug? Is it planned on getting fixed? I’m so demoralized right more because I just made 60 video posts assuming the video player wasn’t broken.

    Hi Jace,

We are sorry to hear that you have added 60 videos to different Brizy posts and now discovering that it is not working. I realize how discouraging it can be to discover this by surprise.

We cannot comment on whether this is a bug because we have not seen your video URL or how you have embedded the video into different pages. According to your report, it appears that videos uploaded to Microsoft Azure do not work well with the Brizy video element.

If you grant us access to your project, we can investigate if there is anything we can do to lessen your workload in reconstructing the pages. If you need this help, please add me as a user to your WordPress Dashboard and send the following details to our email: communitysupport@brizy.io

Please let us know here when you send us the email.

    Hi Jace,

I have looked at one of your videos on a mobile. Please have a look at this screen recording https://jmp.sh/itDxqKKL

You had mentioned that "when I try to expand the video on mobile, nothing happens, but when I expand them on desktop it works fine" Can you help me understand the problem you are facing with videos on a mobile? Please describe the issue in detail.

I’m tapping on the expand button on an actual mobile phone in this screen recording, not a mobile browser emulator.

    Hi Jace,

I did the same thing. The screen recording you saw was taken from my Android phone, not a mobile browser emulator.

What is the problem you're facing with videos? What mobile browser were you using, and would the problem persist if you played the videos in a different browser?

    Ok sorry for assuming.

I’m on iPhone using chrome browser.

Does the full screen work horizontal for you?

I just tried it using the safari browser and it is also not working.

    Hi Jace,

This issue could be specific to Apple phones. Please try the suggestion in this YouTube video and see if that makes a difference https://youtu.be/8Rb5I-eamOw

As per Hihaho support, Apple does not support full screen mode for non native video players. https://support.hihaho.com/en/articles/5940845-how-do-i-make-my-interactive-video-play-full-screen-on-an-iphone

The issue may not be specific to Brizy video player.

Yeah the technical details of why aren’t important for me, I can’t explain why to my users. So this is a bug with the tools offered by Brizy and there should be a workaround in order to fulfill on the claim of “Mobile optimized”

    Pretty disappointing

Thank you for your help! Do any of these work with the Brizy builder when I’m building a post like how woo commerce does?

    Hi Jace,

We have not tested these video player plugins. You will have to install the plugins one by one and test it.
