Domain Migration and Security
Hi there. I currently have a website on Wordpress, hosted by SiteGround. I'm getting ready to use a CMS that requires manual CPanel installation for me to be able to use it. Once I have set everything up, my website will be ready, however, I would like to ultimately have Brizy as my hosting provider and not SiteGround.
Do I have to do anything special besides change the Nameservers to point to Brizy?
Second question. I'll be using Brizy as my main site builder, but I'll also be using the CMS that I mentioned earlier to ONLY manage my subdomain content. (for my e-com store)
Will this pose any types of "compatibility" problems or would I be good to go?

Hi Lamont,
Thank you for contacting us.
I apologize for any confusion, but it appears that there might be a misunderstanding regarding the Brizy Cloud platform. I would like to clarify a few points:
Brizy Cloud is not directly connected to WordPress. It is an independent platform with its own set of features and functionalities. For more information, please refer to this link: https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360026950392-What-is-Brizy-Cloud-
If the CMS you are referring to requires WordPress or relies on specific server-side scripts, it may not be compatible with Brizy Cloud. Brizy Cloud has its infrastructure and limitations regarding external CMS integrations or custom server-side scripts.
If this doesn't answer your question, please provide us with more details, so we can further assist you.
Best regards,

Hi Ariel,
Since I'm a Brizy Cloud owner, I'd like to take advantage of your hosting. I currently have Siteground and am afraid of losing my email access and such for my TLD. Where can I find these instructions to migrate this to Brizy without losing my email that's associated with my TLD? For instance, will I still be able to keep my current "name@mywebsite.com" email once I migrate to Brizy Cloud? If so, please provide those steps for me for clarity.
Your prompt response would be greatly appreciated.
V/R,
Lamont

Hi Lamont,
To point your domain name to your Brizy Cloud project, you do not change your name servers. Instead, you add an A Record and a CNAME record to your domain and your primary domain will point to your Brizy Cloud project.
Brizy Cloud does not offer email hosting. Your emails will stay hosted where they are now hosted even after modifying the domain records to point your domain to your Brizy Cloud project. After moving your website hosting to Brizy Cloud, you might need to choose whether to transfer your emails to a new email hosting provider or keep them hosted with the present one.
You can redirect your primary domain to Brizy Cloud without affecting the content management system hosted on your subdomain.
