Backup and Duplicate Brizy Cloud Websites
I am a beginner. I read all the posts I could find on these topics.
Can you please confirm if my understanding is correct:
1. There is no "duplicate site" feature, but the workaround is that you can duplicate a "layout" (i.e. a whole page) by saving it, then starting a new project and then loading that layout.
2. There is no "backup site" feature (to a .zip), but you can
a) save the "layout" and delete the site, and then start a new project and keep it in "draft" mode so it is undiscoverable to searchers, but yet you still have a copy of it, or
b) sync the layout in Brizy cloud to Wordpress server, and now it is on Wordpress and you can get the actual file(?).
My concern is that if I spend a lot of time building sites on Brizy Cloud, but then you go out of business, or charge too much, I am stuck with you and can't move my site elsewhere. But it seems that if I can sync to regular Wordpress on a hosted server, I will be able to keep everything even if I switch away from Brizy because I can download the raw files from Wordpress.
Is above correct?
Please fill in any gaps where I am missing something or if you have any other clarifications based on my primitive understanding please add. Again, I am just a beginner. Thanks.

Hi MK,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
1. There is no "duplicate site" feature, but the workaround is that you can duplicate a "layout" (i.e. a whole page) by saving it, then starting a new project and then loading that layout.
-- You are right, to sync Brizy Cloud with WordPress, you need to install the Brizy WordPress plugin on your site. This will allow you to connect your Brizy Cloud account to your WordPress site and enable you to import your Brizy Cloud designs and templates into your WordPress site.
2. There is no "backup site" feature (to a .zip), but you can
a) save the "layout" and delete the site, and then start a new project and keep it in "draft" mode so it is undiscoverable to searchers, but yet you still have a copy of it, or
b) sync the layout in Brizy cloud to Wordpress server, and now it is on Wordpress and you can get the actual file(?).-- This is also correct, there is no backup. You can save the layout you made with Brizy Cloud. You can keep them in your saved layouts, so you can use them later on or download the layout or block into your WordPress site, you can also set it to draft mode, so it's not visible to searchers.
We understand your concern, so we've put these features in place, so it will be easy for you to switch between platforms. Expect additional refinements in this area in the future updates.
I hope this helps.
Best regards,
