    Hi David,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

It seems that the problem you are experiencing is related to the optimizations performed by the WP Optimize plugin. To verify this, I kindly ask you to temporarily disable the plugin and reload your pages. If this resolves the issue, you can try resetting the minified files or try disabling CSS/JS minification to see if it helps - https://prnt.sc/usHnPrVg2_Oa.

Please try this and let me know how it goes.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

    Hi Ariel,

    Thank you for your reply.

    Unfortunately this didn't work.

I had another plugin before for optimization but George K. told that WP-Optimize was a good plugin that works with Brizy very well.

I also de-activated the Rank Math SEO, Link Library, Site Reviews and the Ocean Extra plugin, but also that didn't help. It looks random because it's not on every page.

Also after disabling the plugins I opened the site in an incognito window but that also didn't help.

    Kind regards,
    David

    Hi Steven,

    Thank you for your cooperation.

The images in mobile view appear to be working now, as demonstrated on this screencast—https://youtu.be/g-4qG_6sNeM
Could you please check at your end to confirm?

However, we are still encountering an issue with the images not appearing in the editor, as shown in this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/-TMyNyWiGzeQ
As you can see, it doesn't show the image, and it's throwing an error 500.  This error typically indicates that there may be other underlying issues on your server, possibly related to file permissions.  I also attempted to uninstall Brizy in the plugins area, so I could re-install it, but it didn't work.

If debug mode on WordPress is enabled, it's showing some deprecated errors - https://prnt.sc/7FG5gBWNPDL6, even when both Brizy and Brizy Pro are disabled, which further indicates other issues in your WordPress install.

To address the above issues, please contact your hosting provider, so they can reset the file permissions on your server. You might also consider changing the PHP version to PHP v8.0 instead of PHP v8.2.9 and see if this will help fix the errors in debug mode.  Sometimes, using a different PHP version can help resolve compatibility issues and address errors encountered in debug mode.

Please try this and let me know how it goes.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

    Hi Ariel,

Unfortunatedly on other pages it doesn't work also not in Mobile mode.

    I made a screenvideo: https://photos.app.goo.gl/X5MsFQWvJPysRntn6

I will contact my hosting provider and see what they can do, I also changed the PHP version to 8 and there are some more options in the PHP page but I really don't know what to do there.

I will get back to you after contacting my hosting provider.

    Kind regards,
    David

    Hi Ariel,

Is it possible to do a clean wordpress install and keep al the Brizy pages and layouts somehow. Maybe with a backup?

    Kind regards,
    David

    Hi Ariel,

The webhoster told me that the memorylimit is exceeded, can this be the problem? The memory for the website is 256M and they cannot make it higher.

Now I have to find out wich plugin does that, can it be Brizy that is making the memory full? Is this a known problem?

    Regards,
    David

    Hi David,

    Thank you for the update.

Brizy should work with 256M of RAM, and besides, Brizy is working on your website, except it doesn't display images in the editor and in mobile view. Perhaps they need to check other issue such as server-side cache and file permissions. It is also worth mentioning that I previously attempted to uninstall Brizy from the plugins area, but it did not work, which could be attributed to incorrect file permissions.

Please check this with them and let me know how it goes.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

    Dear Ariel,

I have disabled all plugins except Brizy and the problem still persists. I also tried 3 different themes and that also doesn't work. That leaves me to think that the problem is not with the server but with Brizy.

What I also have concluded is that the problem is with images that I lately added. Old images are shown on pages that I made a while ago.

It shows on new pages with new images.

    Regards,
    David

Also the hoster told me that the permissions look fine. I can give you acces to my CPanel if you want?

The problem also only persists on pages made Brizy only, with Brizy template as option. The pages that have a WP Footer and Header and are a combination of brizy and WP-Ocean don't have this problem.

    Hi David,

I've inspected the page again, however, the errors in the editor view are still visible, the images are not showing as demonstrated on this screencast:  https://youtu.be/gZMh-k4563k

Error code 500 typically indicates an issue with your server configuration. To confirm this, I saved the page as a layout and imported it into my testing environment. You can access the page through the following link - https://staging.server001.xyz/test02/new-page/

In the screencast mentioned above, you will notice that the images are visible in the editor view, and I am able to make changes to them. However, in your current setup, attempting to modify the image or add the missing images does not yield the desired result.

I kindly request that you reach out to the relevant support team and bring this issue to their attention once again. It seems that the problem persists despite previous attempts to address it.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

    Hi David,

Sorry about that, please try this one instead.

There's only one page found on this WordPress install, please go to pages and open the test page with Brizy Builder.

    Best regards,

    Hi David,

Could you also please report this issue to WP Optimize premium support, looking at their support thread, some users also experience this issue:
    https://updraftplus.com/forums/topic/images-not-showing-anymore-after-running-wp-optimize-plugin/

    Kind regards,

    Hi Ariel,

I can do that but the problem of having no images in the editor was already there before I installed WP-Optimze. I had Seraphinite Accelerator before and didn't like that plugin so on your forum KC George (support member brizy) suggested WP-Optimize because he had good experience with that plugin and Brizy together.

So maybe the fault is in the code from brizy because before I had to disable almost every plugin to be able to edit. Now it can't be that all the plugins are faulty and Brizy is 100% not faulty.

I do expect a bit more from the support from a plugin that I've been supporting from the beginning with the Pro version.

Nevertheless I will restore the images and uninstall WP-Optimize for now and see what is going on. But the problem of no images in the editor I had already for months, I just disabled all the plugins everytime and then edit.

    Regards,
    David

    Hi David,

I apologize for the difficulties you're facing with this issue. While we do offer recommendations from time to time, conflicts can still arise due to the complexity of website setups and the wide range of plugins available.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know. We are here to assist you in any way we can.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

    Hi Ariel,

Unfortunately now the problem persists even when I disable all the plugin except Brizy and Brizy Pro.

Would a clean install of the Brizy plugins maybe help?

    Kind regards,
    David

    Hi David,

I no longer have access to your site, could you please try to change set the image to Original as shown on this screenshot - https://prnt.sc/7LLgiDwqgJp1
It may not show the image immediately, so you need to update the page and reload it and see if this makes any difference?

    Hi David,

I assume that you're working on this page, to ensure that you're not viewing the cached page, you can add a question mark at the end of the URL - https://artiestenstal.nl/bands/coverband/coverband-fantix-boeken/?

This is how it looks like on my end - https://prnt.sc/oe2QXR-XV4Di

    Hi Ariel,

Sorry for that, I forgot to make the account again. You have no acces because I have placed a backup back from 10 days ago.

I also changed the php version back to 7.4 and it looks like its some what better now. At least i can see the blocks and images again in the editor. And most of the images are back on the website in desktop mode, not sure about mobile mode.

Not sure was caused the problem, can be the php version or wp optimize. I restored the images and only use the pages cache of the plugin. I turned the optimisation of images and scripts off. Tomorrrow i will make your account again so you can acces the site. I am also making a new post tomorrrow and then well see how it looks.

    Regards,
    David

    Hi Ariel,

It looks like changing the PHP version to 7.4 did the trick. Until now all looks okay. Wordfence also plays up a little while editing, is there a solution to that?

    Regards,
    David

    Hi David,

I'm glad that your website works when using PHP v7.4.

About WordFence, could you please try to set it to learning mode and see if this makes any difference?

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.
