    Hi David,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We couldn't identify any specific cause for the error related to the "book" CNAME in your DNS manager.  Please reach out to your domain registrar or hosting provider, so they can help you with this issue.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

So it is only that sub-domain that is having the issue and they even tried making a A record to solve this issue but it is still not working. We are not sure what is wrong but it seems that it is only the brizy cname record that is having the issue. Is there any other possible reason that it might not be working properly?

They recently transferred their dns from one hosting site to another but this has been the only thing that has been having problems. Also they made sure to remove the old dns info.

    Hi David,

Even though the domain kahmsrecruiting.com is registered with https://tucowsdomains.com/ its domain records are hosted with GoDaddy Domain Name Servers, ns53.domaincontrol.com and ns54.domaincontrol.com. Hence please ensure that the CNAME record is being added to the GoDaddy name servers.

Please sign in to the GoDaddy account and add the CNAME record under Domain - DNS Records. Please see this screenshot https://jmp.sh/JjejYBjQ Please follow instructions on this page https://in.godaddy.com/help/add-a-cname-record-19236

So the issue is that they are unable to add it to GoDaddy.

    Hi David,

The domain's status is 'Pending Transfer' according to a Whois lookup. Your customer might have requested that the domain be transferred to a different domain registrar.

    • Can they take the help of their domain registrar to add the CNAME record?
    • If they cannot, can they give you access to their domain account?
    • If both are not possible, can they join on a Zoom call with two of us and share their screen?

Their domain registrar wasn't able to add the cname record and I will attempt to get access to their hosting login.

I'm glad that you managed to update the CNAME record.
