    Hi David,

    Thank you for contacting us.

The blank page occurs when the page is saved in DRAFT mode, If you have seen this, please Publish the page, click on the Update, and after this on the Preview.

Let me know if I can help you with something else.

    Best regards, Nelea.

    Hi,

The site has been in draft mode, we have published it and now everything is working well. Please clear your browser cache and check again.

    Best regards,

    Nelea.

This morning, no changes made to make it draft. Blank screen again.

Click publish in the three dots - no change
Hit the word publish under the project name in the dashboard - no change

Come on guys get this sorted out. This is stupid UX. If I can't find out the issue intuitively, you aren't doing it right.

    Hi,

Below is a page screen from your project, as you can see the page is saved in DRAFT MODE

    https://jumpshare.com/j/WUDZ57yCAhbW6M5ndBY3

Please publish the page. You have published the project from the dashboard but not from the project.

No where does it say that if you publish it and you still save edits as draft will the page no longer load into the published version.

These little tool tips will save everyone time. Thank you for highlighting this. I just don't want to have to pester you everytime, when little tooltips would save the issue.

Why am I not seeing on this published version on mobile the section that is set to display on mobile. That section you have a screenshot of, go to mobile and go to view preview. I'm talking about the second section under it that is hidden on desktop but not mobile.

    Any thoughts? Thanks

    Hi,

You can publish a page from the mobile/tablet mode too, please see this video: https://jumpshare.com/j/dzfkicCA5nJZRYJfn6Ht

    Best regards, Nelea.

Sorry but that hasn't fixed the issue:

    It was:
Why am I not seeing on the mobile published version a section that is set to display on mobile. It is the mobile duplicate version of that section you have a screenshot of.

If you go to mobile and go to view preview. I'm talking about the second section under it that is hidden on desktop but not mobile. It has a thumb scrollable menu bar, and two blue chevrons at the top. The heading is 'Solo Travel'

    Hi David,

I would like to take a look at your project to help you with this. Can you add me as a Team Member to your project? Please assign me the 'Manager' role. My email: kc.george@brizy.io

Please let me know here once you have sent me the invitation

    I have added you now.

I found a workaround by adding a third version of that block, but that behaviour is page speed crippling, but you will see the issues I am having.

    thanks

    Hi David,

I guess you are working on the project now. Now that the block is visible on the mobile, do you really need any help?

  • David Mason

It is visible because I have added a triplicate version.

    1. Why have I had to add a triplicate?
    2. What is causing the simple duplicate route to not work?
    3. Is this stable enough to be used on an enterprise website?~
    4. Does this additional unseen block still impact on page performance?

I need really to understand this, as we can't just accept tech debt or hacks without finding out the issue.

    Thank you

    Hi David,

Looks like you are still logged in to Brizy Cloud. Can you log off so that I can access your project?

    Hi David,

I have duplicated your homepage design on another page and have done its responsive design (without duplicating the blocks) https://testhwd.brizy.site/home-copy Please have a look.

Since you are embedding too many design elements from external sources its difficult to achieve the exact design you are looking for. Please replace all embedded designs using Brizy elements to ensure that the frontend design looks exactly like the backend.

    Hi there,

The design is the design. This is the approved design produced by our product design team. How many elements we use from our media library should be irrelevent. I will check what you have done, but am hoping none of the work I have done has been lost.

We will be exporting the html when finished and injecting into the brizy pro builder on our wordpress blog site on completion. This is why we are using media from external sources.

I was hoping for specific answers on the 4 questions raised in the previous message. It is important we and you get to the bottom of those, to ensure your team have a record of issues, and we and future customers know limitations.

So for ease, I have added the questions again below:

It is visible because I have added a triplicate version.

    1. Why does adding a triplicate resolve the issue?
    2. What is causing the simple duplicate route to not work?
    3. Is this stable enough to be used on an enterprise website?~
    4. Does this additional unseen block still impact on page performance?
    5. If the issue is with using image url resources, from third party storage locations, why would a triplicate version fix this? Surely it would make it even harder - more resource demand.

    NB:

Where is the work I had previously done. You have removed the hardest work I did, with php, java.

What you have done is a bit of a mess. I will have it restored please exactly as you found it, or your developers can fix it to the standard it was at.

    I can't find my work

We need it back by 11am for a meeting

This is how we left it:

This is how it is now after I woke up

This is just one of many desktop issues. Please don't fight me on this.

GIve me back what I had done and remove all of your work. Restore all of my work.
This is just one of many differences.

This is from your version of a copy page

This is not part of our original design

There is a fair bit like this.
