EMAIL FORM NOT WORKING ... STILL!
Hello,
It's been months and these forms are still not working correctly. It also appears to be intermittent and not impacted by a switch in browser, or technology type (phone, laptop, desk top, etc.)
Why is this not working correctly, and why is it only intermittent? Our users receive the error, "email not sent."

The forms on located here (https://resources.cowlesco.com/contests-and-events) (Under “Summer Splash”) and here (https://resources.cowlesco.com/manager-corner#rvgkwgszcxlwjbymkvyodqlxvfacvmeichgx) (under staffing request form) are intermittently providing employees “email not sent” notifications. All information has been provided, I tested myself as well with the same results.

We are unable to replicate the problem on our end. As a result, troubleshooting is difficult.
Could you please seek further information from employees who receive the "email not sent" notification? What operating system were they using, which browser and version of browser were they using?

Yes. The four employees who have encountered this have used the following: Safari, Chrome, and Edge. Please try adding a DMARC DNS record to your domain to see if this would help with the email delivery issue. You may need to get in touch with your domain registrar for assistance in setting this up.
The problem you're experiencing could be related to failed DMARC authentication, which is a common issue for users using Office 365 and Google Workplace.

I gave this information to IT and I was provided the results of tests ran.
As you can see, there are no status’s that are showing any blocked on our end.
I am having the same issues intermittently with all forms on our website now.

Since it is hard to reproduce this issue, you may want to consider alternate ways to setup the forms on your website. For instance, you could consider these options
- Consider adding an embed form: You could setup a form with an online form builder and embed the form to your page. An example is https://embedsocial.com/forms/ Have a look at this page for an example of a form embedded from Embed Social: https://digital-works.brizy.site/form You could look at this list The 11 best online form builder apps in 2023
- Consider connecting to an App: Brizy form allows you to connect to different marketing apps like Maichimp, Get Response etc. Using a free account with one of these apps, you could send the Brizy form data to one of these apps. Please have a look at this article: Contact form integrations and click on any of the listed options

Ideally, no. The reason we chose Brizy was for reducing the cost of many extra services we had that were satisfied by using Brizy. This wasn’t an issue until a couple of months ago when suddenly the forms stopped performing.
I do hope that the company comes up with a way to have these forms work consistently, based on the help section, I am not the only one having problems with it.

Further, I wanted to add that the form you used is not the one I stated having issues with. You used the form at the bottom of the page which is for ideas, when the form we were talking about was in a popup under “summer splash”. It is no longer there.

There is a form in there for our managers to submit their staffing request needs and it has not worked for anyone outside of myself when I ran the initial test.

The form (or another feature) works properly at times but not at other times is usually due to an environmental factor. The feature could be blocked by antivirus software, a firewall, or something similar on the local computer. We must see the issue in front of us in order to resolve it. If we are unable to replicate the problem at our end, we will be unable to resolve it.
Could you send us the username and password for the page https://resources.cowlesco.com/manager-corner so that we can test it? We will delete the credentials before making your comment public.

I tested your staffing request form after adding my email address to the form. I received this email notification in my inbox. https://app.sparkmailapp.com/web-share/PNIB5KS3ykebeeVgFYgqEZ9ls0tKk58_LD0dMFN_ I am unable to reproduce the issue at my end.
Can you ask 2-3 managers to test the form and record their computer screen so we can see what's wrong? They could capture their screens using https://www.loom.com/ or similar screen recording service.
I did not remove my email address from the form, and I will notify you if I receive email notifications from their tests.

When you are testing the form, please record your computer screen so that we can try and replicate the issue at our end. Please consider using a service like https://jumpshare.com/ or https://www.loom.com/ to record your computer screen.

Hi Jessi,
My colleague also tested the form today and received the email notifications. There are a few mandatory fields in the form. I wonder if your staff are filling up all the mandatory form fields. The form will not be sent unless all required data is filled up
A screen recording is the only way to find the reason why it does not work for your staff

Apologies for not getting back to you. As far as the forms go, they are still not working. I deleted them and reinstalled new forms and I am having the same issue. I have tried changing out the email address to my own, in addition to personal emails and corporate. We get the same error message each time.

Looks like you are now using an Office Embed form instead of a Brizy form. Hopefully this form works well for you.

I am, I didn’t have a choice. We needed something that would work every time and not intermittently.
