Improve INP and TTFB

Greetings,

Google will be changing its search algorithm in 2024 march to focus on Time to first byte (TTFB) and Interaction to Next Paint (INP). My website is fairly minimal and still struggles with these two metrics. What can I do to improve speed? I do not use Brizy Cloud.

  Hi Chris,

  I did a performance test at GT Metrix from the Vancouver location and here is the report https://gtmetrix.com/reports/dendearts.com/gojZ9NtY/ For a page which is 4.09 MB in size, these key parameters look good

  • Time to First Byte (TTFB) : 199ms
  • Fully Loaded Time: 801ms
  • First Paint: 375ms

  The above test does not include the Interaction to Next Paint (INP) metric. A test based on Web Vitals chrome extension showed 95% score for your website from India.  

  

  What are the performance parameters you are referring to when you say "My website is fairly minimal and still struggles with these two metrics"? Can you share your findings?
