Buttons appearance has changed
Re: Button error due to plugin.
Live customer website, so no login will be given. The saved section is called "BRIZY ERROR - Osteopathy"
Also see block download.
All working fine when website was created.
I've taken the site to a backup of one month, and the issue disappears. These buttons all worked when site was created. When I update Brizy plugins the issue returns.
I cannot edit the background on some but not all of the buttons. There are a lot of pages on this website so a fix would be good.
See videos attached [edited].
Link to website [please hide link]
You will have to try different pages as some buttons are okay. One of the buttons may appear slightly different but that was my early attempt to correct the issue.

Hi Ray,
Thank you for contacting us.
I apologize for the inconvenience, but it seems that I am unable to access the links you provided: https://i.imgur.com/xVbm6D1.png.
It appears that the files have been deleted from Dropbox. Could you please resend the files or share the URL of the website so that we can investigate the issue? If you prefer to keep it private, we will ensure that it is not displayed in this support thread.Alternatively, if it's possible, you may consider creating a staging version of the website and granting temporary access to us. This will allow us to conduct a more thorough investigation of the issue at hand.
In the meantime, please try the following and see if this will help:
- Ensure that you are currently using the most recent versions of both Brizy and Brizy Pro - https://i.imgur.com/NJ8x1Cx.png
- If you already have the latest versions, try disabling all other plugins besides Brizy and Brizy Pro, and check if it solves the issue. If it does, start enabling the rest of the plugins one at a time as you test your site until the issue comes back. This will help you determine which plugin is causing the layout issue.
Please try this and let me know how it goes.
Kind regards,
Ariel H.0 -
Yes see above for changed to links.
Also I have previously followed your advice in steps 1 & 2, these did not make any difference.
Thx
Ray

Hi Ray,
Thank you for the update.
The issue appears to be coming SiteGround cache. Please try to flush the dynamic cache and memcache in your SiteGround control panel:
https://world.siteground.com/kb/clear-site-cache/After this, clear the cache of your web browser and reload your website:
https://world.siteground.com/kb/how-to-clear-cache-and-cookies/Please try this and let me know how it goes.
Best regards,

Yes I have done all that and had no success.

Hi Ray,
Thank you for the update.
Could you kindly consider creating a staging version of your website and provide us Admin access? This would enable us to investigate the issue without any impact on the live site.
To assist you in creating a staging version of your website, we recommend referring to the following links:

There is no point in doing that as I have tried the block that contained the buttons with issue in a new page on a different website. It still has the editing/editor issue.
I have linked the zip file of one of the block that has the issue. I will provide the zip again:
Please upload the block to a website of your own to try it for yourself.

Hi Ray,
Thank you for the update.
Unfortunately, the link you provided is not the correct one. It leads to Brizy Pro 2.4.23 instead of the block. Could you please resend the correct link so that we can reproduce the issue on our end?
In the meantime, you can try clearing the Dynamic cache and Memcached in your SiteGround control panel by following this guide:
https://world.siteground.com/kb/clear-site-cache/After that, clear the cache of your web browser and reload your website by following these instructions:
https://world.siteground.com/kb/how-to-clear-cache-and-cookies/If the issue continues, we kindly request that you also provide us with the Site Health Info. You can do this by following the instructions provided in this link: https://i.imgur.com/TPGByr5.png
This information will help us better understand your current WordPress setup and assist in reproducing the issue.Best regards,
Ariel H.0 -
I have already said that I have cleared cache(s) in a previous comment:
"Yes I have done all that and had no success."
..and the rest has also been done.
I think this is the correct link, I have tried this in a new page in a different website:
Also these buttons worked and could be edited correctly when they were created.
Providing you with the Site Health Info. is unnecessary as I have uploaded the block in a new page in a different website and I still get the error. Surely the block will show any error in its code?

Hi Ray,
Thank you for your cooperation.
I have successfully imported this block into my test environment, but the problem is not replicating here. I encourage you to verify this firsthand in the test environment I have created for you. You can access it through THIS LINK.
The block was imported on the test01 page.Best regards,
Ariel H.0 -
Aha! Yes I can replicate the issue, here!
It you try to edit the background colour of the first button you will see that you can't. The 1st button background hover colour on my website is white, and was white on the page that this section (with button) was taken from originally.
This has changed somehow when you updated Brizy plugin(s).
Please remove your link from your post [this should have been private]

Hi Ray,
Thank you for the update.
The option to change the background color is missing in the first button because the button fill is set to outline. If you set the fill to outline, the background is no longer needed. This is demonstrated on this screencast—https://youtu.be/ziFoysft5rg.
If you have any further questions, please let us know.
Best regards,
Ariel H.0 -
Firstly can you remove the link in your post see link here:
So yes I can change these buttons, but the most important question is how did all these buttons change as I haven't edited them. This occurred after a Brizy plugin update.

Hi Ray,
Thank you for keeping in touch.
I have deactivated the "Temporary Login Without Password" plugin in the test environment, so the link is no longer accessible.
Regarding the ability to change the background of a button, upon checking, the option was available in Brizy Version 2.4.18. However, in versions beyond this, the option no longer appears when the button type is set to outline. Our developers have intentionally removed the background-setting option when the button type is set to outline, as it is deemed unnecessary in such cases.
If you have any further questions, please let us know.
Best regards,
Ariel H.0 -
There must have been others who have created websites with this option.
This is a cost in time to the website creator to then re-edit their websites.
Q: A question for all Brizy users is why Brizy creates a functions that then is removed causing issues to peoples websites.
Brizy, this is unprofessional!
Thank you Ariel for your help.

Hey Ray,
I have experienced the exact same thing when updating my website. Very very frustrating.
