Two big problems after the last update

Hi, after the last update my website has broken with these two problems:

1 - The Pop Up that I use as a top strip for a logo and language change blocks the possibility to select anything. If I deactivate the popup the problem disappears.

2 - After the last update, the photos that are in the background of a box in "cover" mode have stopped working and only appears as "contain" and there is no way to fix it.

Please, these are two very serious problems that have blocked my website.

  Indeed, that's what I had to do, reinstall the whole site from a backup.

  I find it very irresponsible that you are releasing updates without testing them properly, which can create serious inconveniences as in this case. And this is the second time this has happened to me with one of your updates.
