Size of Galleries
Hi,
Please do not show the link to the page below as I wish to keep it private. Thanks.
I'm using the new upload feature for galleries in Brizy Cloud and the uploads go through pretty fast; however, I'm left with very slow loading times due to the large number of galleries, with each gallery containing between 5 and 15 images.
I am aware that it loads slowly on the first time, due to caching. On my machines with larger memory, the speed is not too bad...however on smaller tables with 2GB and 4GB there are significant speed issues.
I've already compressed the images down but they still end up at around 250kb each. There was talk 3 years ago about webp, so what's the current solution/situation for modern image formats in cloud?
My question is: what's the best solution? Split the galleries up into smaller pages?
If you still have not released the webp image option, can I use an external app such as imageoptin.com ? I can't really afford additional software at the moment.
Please take a look at this page and let me know any thoughts on how to improve the download speed.
Thanks in advance.

Hi David,
You have uploaded approximately 140 images to the above page and the total page size is 23MB. Images are converted to WEBP by the Bunny CDN. On the above page, gallery image sizes vary from 40KB and 120 KB which is reasonable.
To improve the page performance, if you split the page into 2/3, total number of images can come down to 70/35 and and total page size can come down to 12.5/7.6 MB.
According to this GT Metrix report, the current the page on-load time is 1.9 seconds and the full loaded time is 2.8 seconds. These are regarded as reasonable load times. . https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.pocketartwork.com/oWWJInYZ/
