I want to create a blog area on a new site. I have been trying to figure out how to go about properly setting it up. I had a look through the YouTube videos, watching:

• Dynamic Template Creation with Brizy | Lesson 19
• Harnessing the Potential of Dynamic Elements in Brizy | Lesson 18

I tried to set up the post templates however I cannot seem to figure out up to access it once created. When I try to add a new post, it does not use the default post template.

Do you have a recommended video or instruction on this?

  Thank you for contacting us.

  To access your templates, please go Brizy → Templates:  https://i.imgur.com/5cMWgSa.png
  From here you should be able to access all your dynamic templates.

  To ensure that the template is applied to the posts, please set the template to Brizy Template: https://i.imgur.com/o0ZQLLA.png

  That is not exactly what I am looking for. I made a template Post Template 1

  

  

  But how to I go to use / access / find / implement this new template?  for post and similar question on Archives.

  Hi Eric,

  Thank you for the update.

  To apply the Blog post template to your posts, please follow these steps:

  1. Open Brizy.
  2. Click on "Templates."
  3. Select "Add New."
  4. Provide a name for your blog post template.
  5. Set the Template Type to "Single."
  6. Under conditions, choose "Include," "Posts," and "All" to apply this template to all posts.
  7. Click "Add," and then select "Update" to save your changes.
  8. The condition you set should now be displayed under "Where do you want to display it."  https://i.imgur.com/G2E4zOR.png
  9. Click "Edit with Brizy" to start designing your blog post template.

  For creating a blog archive, follow a similar process, but set the Template Type to "Archive."

  Hi Ariel,

  The video was very helpful.  And it worked!  I was able to make a sample blog post.

  One question I am left with..  The post seems to show that posts can be edits with Brizy.

  Can you point me to a training video on this?

  Hi Eric,

  Thank you for keeping in touch, I'm glad that you have created your first blog template.

  It is possible to edit the posts directly, however, we don't recommend this if you already have a blog post template. You can only do this if you need to change the layout of a specific post.
