    Hi David,

My apologies for the delayed response.

Could you please try to delete the files inside the /cache and the /var directories on your server? This might help resolve the issue you're facing.
For your convenience, I have created a screencast available at this link (https://youtu.be/MS7fMFTtUtg) that demonstrates the process. This was initially intended for another user, but it may prove helpful to you as well.

Please try this and let me know how it goes.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

I have a similar problem. When I use the function "Export the HTML files for your project." I get a zip file with image files which show 0 KB data size. The website shows graphics and images as "broken-image". Please for solution of this problem, thank you.

    Hi Wolfgang,

The project olivernitz.at with the preview URL of https://pomegranate5114179.brizy.site/ was developed using the older Brizy Cloud project format. HTML Export feature does not work well with the older projects.

I have recreated this project in the current Brizy Cloud project format. The Project Name: olivernitz.at New and the preview URL: https://orange17483478.brizy.site/

Please check if everything looks exactly same in both projects. The images should work fine if you generate Export HTML ZIP file from the new project I have added above. Please try and let us know.

    Hi David,

Are you open to try the HTML Export option? The primary difference is that changes you make in Brizy Cloud are not synced automatically. You will have to manually upload the files. This option seems to work fine for most users.

We have already tried that, a couple of times now.

    Hi David,

Your project ZeroZen Design appears developed before Feb 2021 and uses the older Brizy Cloud project format. While HTML Export works fine with current Brizy Cloud project format, it does not work well with those with older project format.

A permanent solution would be to migrate this project over to the current Brizy Cloud project format. An approximate process for migration is as follows

    • Save each page as a layout.
    • Add a new Brizy Cloud project and add one page at a time and import the saved layouts to different pages
    • Copy paste global colors and typography from current project to the new project.
    • Setup menu and global blocks

How is this convenient for us as users. We should not have to re-create websites. The platform should be updated with consideration for older sites and update the work area for those sites as well. I've had to do this for 3 sites now because I didn't have access to blog features. This is extra time a client isn't paying for and I have to commit to. I'm sure others share this frustration.

    Hi David,

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused to you. I agree that it is because we have been unable to adapt older projects to the current project format.

For us, converting previous projects to the current format is a massive undertaking. We prioritised new features over converting previous projects to the current format because the bulk of users do not have older projects.
