sitemap in Robot.txt
When will the robot.txt file will be consistant? sitemap don't appear in the google search
The sitemap URL must be declared in your robots.txt file, as per Bing's Dcoumentation: https://www.bing.com/webmasters/help/sitemaps-3b5cf6ed (scroll down to the bottom) & Google's Documentation: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/crawling-indexing/robots/robots_txt.
A good example would be how Apple declared their sitemaps: https://apple.com/robots.txt (scroll down to the bottom of the file). Sitemap files can have any name, therefore you must let the search engine now exactly what's the name & the location of the sitemap.

Hi Jean-Pierre,
You have mentioned that
sitemap don't appear in the google search
Do you expect Google to show sitemaps in the Search Results? Normally sitemaps are not indexed because it is intended primarily for search engines to get to know all the pages within a website.
You are right; the sitemap URL can be added to Robots.txt file. However if you have submitted your sitemap to Google Search Console or Microsoft Bing Webmaster Tools, adding it to Robots.txt file is not essential. It is an alternate option to let search engines know about the sitemap URL.

I don't expect Google to show sitemap, but they look for it in the robot.txt as seo programs, thats a standard.
I can manually add this in my search console but this is not how it should be done per the web standards.
Just to let you know that little improvments like this are still missing and they are very important to get brizy to the next level. We still dont have any news with the developpments and it's been more than 6 months.
When will you let us know about what's coming ?Thanks for your help KC
