Blog template issue

Hello,

I am using all recent versions of brizy, WP. WaaS license for WP multisite.

I have created a blog page (summary of all blogs) and single post template in brizy. Display conditions are set correctly etc.

For some reason, blogs posts are taking the theme (twentytwenty theme) layout rather than the blog function. The only difference is an update to the brizy plugin yesterday.

Any reason this could be happening or what I can try to do to troubleshoot/identify the issue? 

I removed and recreated the templates + display conditions again, but they are still not showing with the customized brizy design.

I have approx 50 website hit by this, so would welcome some support.

  Hi Daragh,

  Brizy Blog Templates normally work fine in the Multisite environment. Here is a test blog post https://multisite.brizytest.online/blog/muffin-donut-souffle-piebear-claw-croissant/ I am using Blocksy theme for this test. Twenty Twenty theme should work also.

  Hi KC, thanks for your feedback

  I've identified the cause as the template "posts" going from a brizy template back to default. This means that the template wasnt therefore picking up the brizy work and was then displaying the look and feel of the template in use. In my case 2020.

  So, I'm working to identify why the template is being changed to default, but in meantime have written some code to make sure it's always set to brizy instead of reverting back to "default" at any point.

  Please try Blocksy theme and see if that helps. You could also try one of these themes. https://www.brizy.io/theme-partners
