Dynamic data translation bug ?!
Hi,
I have a site in Brizy Cloud with primary Language Bulgarian and second language English.
While the translation feature works overall perfectly, the all dynamically linked data (Assets Element, Posts Element or simply Text Element with dynamic pull from database) refuse to switch the language and always show in the primary Bulgarian language (while the rest of the page is in English)!
Please help!

Hi Viktor,
Can you please share the public URL of your project (the URL a user would type to visit your website) so that we can check?

Yep, there are a few of the pages ...
Cinema class for children | KinoKlas
Advanced Cinema Class | KinoKlass
Classes | KinoKlass0 -
Hi Viktor,
If you click on the Course Title and then select Translation tab, do you see that all the Bulgarian text strings have a corresponding English text? If some strings do not have an English translation available, can you add it manually using https://www.deepl.com/Translator? Please watch this video for the procedure https://jmp.sh/HFXX61zm

Hi George,
Yes, I already checked that before sending my initial question and all strings are either manually or automatically translated to English.
Anyway, I just checked again now (including the taxonomies) - there is no empty or untranslated strings.
And Brizy is perfectly switching all the strings except for those added via any form of dynamic linking (Assets Element, Pages Elements or Text Element with dynamic data).
If you want I can give you access to the backend (if you don't have), as probably will be most effective if you take a look directly ?!0 -
Hi Victor,
We have escalated this issue to our developers. They will investigate this issue. It may take a few days to a week to troubleshoot and fix the problem.
I hope you can give us this time to fix the issue.

Ok, thank you George. Will wait for a fix, .... please let me know.

Hi George!
Do you have some estimation on when to expect the fix?0 -
Hi Viktor,
Our development team is still looking into this issue. Unfortunately, we don't have an estimate for the release date for this fix. It could take few weeks to months. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Hi George,
Thanks for the update!Yes, the translation works almost perfectly fine now, except for one field - Teachers Biography!
This is a Rich Text custom field assigned to the Teachers Custom Asset and it is the only custom field that doesn't translate in no one of the teachers profiles.
Tried to manually change translation just to initiate a refresh, also tried to completely change the text inside one of the profiles and translate it again, but with no success - the field refuse to translate the text.
You can see an example here > Stephanie Raycheva | KinoKlass (https://www.kinoklas.com/en/stefani-raicheva) - The text in the blue section is still in Bulgarian while the rest is in English. The other issue that I still observe to remain is the unusually long time for server response ( 4-8 sek.) that was discussed as somehow connected to the Translation Module (that was discussed in a separate thread - 21874).
best regards,
Viktor0 -
Hi Viktor,
Thanks for your feedback. After I wrote my comment yesterday, I had realized that there were still some issues with the translations. In fact I even deleted my comment from the Forum. We will continue to work on fixing this.
The speed issue is to do with the translation approach we have adopted. Unless we make a foundational change to the approach, we can't solve the performance issue. We will need more time to fix it.

Hi George, Unfortunately my site ( kinoklas.com ) is still having issues with the translation 1) On the English home-page. If I click on some of the classes (for example "Advanced Film Class") I'm send to the Bulgarian version of the class instead of the English one. 2) The Logo in the header never switch to his English version when I change the language. 3) The description of the classes is always in Bulgarian and does not translate with the rest of the page 4) The "topics" (taxonomy build as Brizy Custom Asset ) is also never translated to English Please, take some actions on this bugs!!! Regards, Viktor Andreev

Hi Viktor,
My apologies for the inconvenience.
We regret to inform you that Brizy Cloud currently does not automatically translate dynamic content and that links within your pages will not be redirected to translated versions of the pages for the time being. These issues were already reported to our developers, so they can find a solution.
Additionally, there is an issue with the logo. In the meantime, please upload a new translated image for the logo element.
We understand that these current limitations can be annoying, and we apologize for any frustration this may have caused. Our developers are working hard to improve Brizy Cloud, and your feedback is important in this process
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Best regards,
Ariel H.

Hi Victor,
I want to provide you with an update regarding the problem related to the translation of dynamic content. We have just released an update to resolve this issue.
We conducted random checks on a few websites having the same issue, and it appears that the translation functionality is working as expected. However, there may be instances where certain text elements have not been automatically translated. As a result, we recommend thoroughly reviewing all pages containing dynamic content and manually translating any text as needed.
Should you encounter any further issues, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Best regards,
Ariel H.0
