Hello I've an issue with the brizy popup it's displayed twice

Mathieu HERVE

I've created a popup with

WHAT WILL TRIGGER THE POPUP TO OPEN  : ON PAGE LOAD — after 1s.

I've also toggle the : Déclencher le Pop-Up une seule fois 

WHERE DO YOU WANT TO DISPLAY IT? Include — all

The issue is that is rendered twice
please help me to solve this issue

    Hi Mathieu,

    This is due to a bug with the latest Brizy releases. You will need to roll back to the previous versions to fix the issue. You can use these ZIP files

    Please follow this procedure to roll back.

    1. Deactivate and delete Brizy Pro
    2. Deactivate and delete Brizy
    3. Download Brizy 2.4.12 and in your WordPress Dashboard under Plugins - Add New - Upload Plugin, upload Brizy
    4. Download Brizy Pro 2.4.11 and under Plugins - Add New - Upload Plugin, upload Brizy Pro

    Can I wait for the next update to fix it or I must do the thing you said ? because the website is still in dev mode so I can wait a bit.

    Hello Me again, thx for ur reply but I've updated brizy free (Version 2.4.13) and pro (Version 2.4.14) to the last version and unfortunately it dosen't solve our issue. I can see a mention about cookies in the changelog Pro 2.4.13 - 2022-12-26 * Fixed: Popup cookies problems with local-storage. but it's not related to our problem our issue is about duplicated popup element in code please recheck my tickets and captions. I'm available if you need more infos. Please can you make it on the next release !

    Hi i manage to make this works and remove the duplicated popup

    i found out that the popups duplicated only appears on homepage when the hompage is selected on the pages so if you select the "Front Page" option, the popup is not duplicated any more.

    Thank you Rafael. But unfortunately I must use the pop up once on any page load to validate legal age. So this is not a Fix for me. Please Brizy team Fix this issue

    Hi Stijn,

    We are sorry; we still do not have a solution for this.

    If you are on Brizy WordPress for showing a popup on your homepage, you can use this workaround to avoid closing the popup two times. Use this display condition.

    Is there any news on this issue?


    There is an opinion that the problem lies in Brizy_Public_AssetEnqueueManager.
    When we do Brizy_Public_AssetEnqueueManager::_init()->enqueuePost( $popup );
    it seems to make wordpress load twice. The result is a duplicate pop-up on the main page. In addition, this leads to a crash in the structure of the main page containing a large number of elements.

    Let's finally solve this problem! We are all looking forward to it!

    Hi Anton,

    This issue has been fixed from Brizy 2.4.19 onwards. If you upgrade to the most recent Brizy versions, you should not have to close a popup twice.  

    These are the most recent versions. Please let us know if this issue is resolved for you.

    Alas. The problem remained after the update.

    We also get a crash on the main page. We have created a test site to diagnose the problem: https://w.site.for.by

    Scroll down the page. You will see that the structure is destroyed. Also the popup is duplicated.

    Can we continue the dialogue in a ticket or by email? We opened a ticket with number 24072
