Mention Brizy in privacy policy and sign DPA?
If I‘m using Brizy for Wordpress:
1. I have to mention Brizy in my Privacy Policy?
2. I have to sign a DPA with Brizy?
I’m glad if you can give me an answer to these two questions. Thank you.
Best regards, Michael

Hi Michael,
If you have a document which discloses the cookies your website uses, you would need to include the Brizy cookies in it as well. If you are using a cookie plugin like Cookiebot or Complianz, it will scan your website and compile a list of cookies. The compiled list the plugin puts together can be used for making cookie disclosure document. You could also refer to this document in our knowledgebase. https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/7421688586385-What-cookies-does-Brizy-store-
As per the document at https://gdpr.eu/what-is-data-processing-agreement/ GDPR compliance requires data controllers to sign a data processing agreement with any parties that act as data processors on their behalf. A data processor is another company you use to help you store, analyze, or communicate personal information. For example, if you are a health insurance company and you share information about clients via encrypted email, then that encrypted email service is a data processor. Or if you use Matomo to analyze traffic on your website, Matomo would also be a data processor.
As I understand this document, you are not authorizing Brizy to process client personal data on your behalf. Hence I think, you may not need a data processing agreement with Brizy.
Disclaimer: I am not a GDPR consultant; what I have stated above is my personal view based on my understanding of the regulation.

As Reseller of Brizy Cloud I have to sign a DPA with Brizy as you tell us here: https://www.brizy.io/dpa-data-processing-agreement
Where could I sign such a DPA? Is there any PDF file to sign for example?
My business is in EUROPE, Germany.0 -
Hello Helge,
We are in the process of updating the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) published on our website, with the new version scheduled to be available in early September.
As the DPA forms an integral part of our Terms & Conditions, it does not require a separate signature and will automatically apply when you continue to use our services. This approach is consistent with GDPR requirements, as it does not require a separate, physically signed document if the necessary clauses are already included in an enforceable contract that the customer has accepted.
If your internal procedures require a signed DPA, we are happy to accommodate this. We can provide our standard DPA template for signature, or we can review and if appropriate, sign your own DPA template. We can switch to a private conversation over email for exchanging the documents. Please let us know how you would like to proceed.
