Arabic RTL issues
Hello
I am using Brizy Cloud to create a multilingual website using English and Arabic languages.
I am facing many problems in the Arabic version such as:
- Indic numbers (used in Arabic) are not supported and the numbers shows only in English
-punctuation and numbers always go to the left side of the Arabic text which is not always the needed case
- For some reason I failed to rearrange some columns in the mobile version when they had Arabic text.
- some elements like forms and tables do not support RTL language structure
When I first saw that brizy supports Arabic translation I was enthusiastic about using it as I assumed since the translation is there, the RTL support is there too for all items.
Please let me know if there's a way to solve any of these issues using custom CSS

Hi Konn,
Let me go over each issue you have mentioned.
Arabic Numerals: I have added Arabic numerals to a translation. It seems to work fine at my end. Please have a look at the page https://quince14035563.brizy.site/ar/abcd

Punctuation and Numbers: Are you saying that the punctuation and numbers are added to the left side of a word when Google auto translates it? In the LTR languages, punctuation is added to the right of a word. Are you saying that for an RTL language, adding punctuation on the left is not appropriate? You have the option to edit the automatic translation to fine tune it. Are you also implying that the editing of translations do not work? Or are you creating the page in Arabic and facing these issues while typing in Arabic?
Rearranging columns: I added Arabic text to three columns and tried to resize the columns in mobile. I could not reproduce the problem you are facing. Can you please record a video of the issue you are facing with rearranging columns?
Form and table are not RTL friendly: You are right. Form fields cannot be right aligned. Table sidebar also cannot be aligned to the right either. Thanks for this feedback. We will add feature requests to make make these options available. In the interim, please consider embedding external forms and tables.

Hello, Thank you for your reply. I would like to give some feedback on the above along other issues i faced in Arabic translation
Arabic numerals worked but i am still having problem with the punctuation and numbers placement and that's even available in the page you created. attached are some examples. All punctuation that are not followed by text ( like dots for end of sentences or ":" for example) automatically moves to the right side of the sentence, which is not the use-case in Arabic, it should be to the left side of the text. Numbers on the other hand should be on the right side of the sentences but they do not move when flipping the text direction.

- Fonts and text direction: Another note, it would be great to have the option to change the font with the translation, as languages like arabic wont use the same fonts as english, plus to change the direction of the text. because these features are not available i had to duplicate each and every block i had in the website to have the translated text start from right to left and change the font.
- Translation: Translation option didn't show the full text sometimes ( i couldn't find the blogs categories names and issue date for the blog post for example ), and another times it showed the text in a messy format and disarranged, which was hard to use!
- Styling: it would be great to have an option were a user can duplicate a styling option instead of doing the setup for each style from zero. also having the ability to add more color swatches to the color palette.
- in conclusion, if any user wants to create an Arabic website they need to duplicate all content, translate inside the builder screen as the translation option in the CMS doesnt show all text or shows it in a messy arrangement, re-align all text to be RTL instead of LTR, rearrange all the columns, headers, footers to flip in the Arabic version. Duplicate all styling sizes manually so they can change the font for the arabic version, and many more. I wish there would be a better support for this, Thanks!0 -
