Changing slugs

Hi, im not sure if you'd be able to answer this but if I create a new page and want to use a slug that is already used for another page, can I just delete the slug from the old page and enter it into the new page? Do you know if this will affect the SEO rankings of the page?

  Hi Elliot,

  Yes; in WordPress and in Brizy Cloud, you can change the slug of an existing page first and then assign its slug to another page.

  The new content on the page will be indexed the next time Google crawls it, and your ranking will be determined by the new content you have added. As long as the slug stays the same, Google will treat it as updated content on the same page.
