Need to upgrade to transfer sites from cloud to WP - there's no option to do this.

Hi, I want to switch from cloud to WP -  where can I upgrade my cloud account please so that I can download the files? There's currently no option.

    Thank you for contacting us.

    Brizy Cloud and  Brizy Wordpress are two different environments. If you want to have Brizy Wordpress too then you need to buy a new plan for Brizy Worpress, please check here : https://www.brizy.io/pricing

     You can move the Cloud project into the WP site but in this case, you have to install on the WP dashboard the Brizy Free and Brizy Pro plugins. After this to connect your Brizy account into the WP environment too. After this, you can add in the saved layouts all pages from the Brizy Cloud and after this using them in the WP Site. In this video, you will find step by step how you can do this.

    Hi,

    Do you need to upgrade the Brizy Cloud plan or you need to buy a plan for Brizy Wordpreess ?

    If you need to upgrade the Brizy Cloud Plan you have to enter in your Brizy Account and go to Account -> Payments. You can find the "Upgrade Subscription" button. Click on upgrade and choose the plant that you need. On the upgrade, you will pay only the difference.

    If you need to have Brizy Wordpress plan then you need to purchase form Brizy website :  https://www.brizy.io/pricing

    Unfortunately, it looks as though I need to upgrade Brizy Cloud to download the HTML files but there is no option to upgrade. So back to my original question above ("Hi, I want to switch from cloud to WP -  where can I upgrade my cloud account please so that I can download the files? There's currently no option."

     I just need the option to upgrade, please.

    Hello,

    You want to upgrade the plan from Freelancer Cloud to Angecy Plan because only with the Agency plan you can export a website via the HTML option. Brizy Cloud Agency Plan you need to buy from a new account, this plan needs to be on a separate account. There are technical considerations for the white-label options that need to be applied to the Agency account only. So in your account, you can not upgrade your plan to the Agency Cloud plan.

    Right, that's clear - thank you!

    So it is not possible to transfer or export websites made on a freelancer cloud account? The websites would need to be rebuilt - is that correct?

    Hi James,

    The websites you have created using the Brizy Cloud Freelance Plan can be manually migrated to Brizy WordPress. Those websites don't need to be completely rebuilt.  

    Your project can be transferred from Brizy Cloud to Brizy WordPress without upgrading from the Freelance Plan to the Agency Plan. These are the steps you can take.

    1. Buy any of the Brizy WP plans and setup a WordPress website and install Brizy and Brizy Pro and install a Brizy Pro license
    2. Save each webpage as a Layout in Brizy Cloud
    3. In Brizy WordPress, create several pages and import those layouts into those pages.
    4. Recreate the menu in Brizy WordPress
    5. Copy paste global typography and colors from Brizy Cloud to Brizy WP

    Thanks for the help. How do I carry out step 5, please? I.e How do I C&P typography and colors. I know it can be done manually but I'm interested to know for future sites as well. Thanks

    Hi James,

    The fifth step does not have an automated procedure.  It is a completely manual process. What I meant by "copy and paste" was to copy each color swatch's hex code from Brizy Cloud's Global Colors and paste it into your Brizy WP Global colors. Similarly, make a note of the Global typography selections in Brizy Cloud and apply it in Brizy WP.

    Any Custom color or typography you have applied in Brizy Cloud will automatically transfer over to Brizy WP.
