Can't seem to change the MainMenu colour

Hi. I cannot seem to change my main menu colour when I hover on it. This is what it looks like at the moment.

If I hover over 'News', it goes completely black (which I do not want to happen).

I have spent about 1 hour trying to figure out how to change it, but I cannot find it. I even purchased your Pro upgrade (which cost me $150) and that didn't seem to have the option to do it either. Please explain to me how I can change it.

  This tutorial managed to explain how to do it. You need to physically click on the element itself. IE: "Home".
