Password Protection
Hi,
I've opted to use the "password" protection for my page. I've selected it so that it is blue and "on" and then clicked the edit icon, updated it, and saved the page. When I go to the website and enter the generated password, the page refreshes and does not enter the website.
I see no password error either. How can I fix this?

Hi Jessi,
Can you try accessing the page from the private (Incognito) window of your browser or an alternate browser and check if it works?

Hi, we have the same problem. Password protection works on brizy preview but not on the synced domain. Incognito window does not help. I deleted the 'cache' folder and everything in the folder 'var'.

Hi Reto,
We are sorry for this inconvenience. The Server Sync software has a bug. Although the initial sync works fine, further website modifications do not sync well. We do not recommend using this publishing option.
3rd Party Free Hosting, Brizy Cloud custom domain and HTML Download options work well. HTML Download option would not be suitable for password protected pages.

Thank you KC,
If I want to change the connection, I first have to disconnect Server Sync, right?
I guess, this option won't work for my client. His Internet Provider blocks everything from Brizy. He can't see the preview page and he can't see the backend. The browser stops loading content. We checked his computer, we can not find any restrictions.
best regards, Reto

Hi Reto,
You have mentioned that "His Internet Provider blocks everything from Brizy". Does this apply to any website hosted with Brizy Cloud? Can you please test these Brizy Cloud hosted websites at his end?
These are Brizy Cloud websites hosted with Netlify. Do these open at your client's location?
Please also check these Brizy Cloud websites published on Vercel
And this Brizy Cloud website published with Render
Depending on which one works, you can make a decision on where to publish.

Hi KC,
Thank you so much. The Internet provider has given more rights to my client. Now he can open any of these links.
Best regards, Reto0
