How do I use my Wordpress default header while using a Brizy template?
I have created a Brizy template, but don't want to add a header block as I want to simply use the default Wordpress header we have on our pre-existing site.
Can this work? Or do I HAVE to recreate a header in Brizy?
Or can both a Brizy template and Wordpress header co-exist on the same page. I have seen someone ask this before, but the answer wasn't clear. Can I have an explicitly clear answer to my questions please.
1. Can a Brizy template co-exist on the same page/post as a Wordpress header, if I leave a header block off?
2. Can it work at all?
3. If it can, what are the steps to do this? I am sure there are many who would appreciate how to do this.
Thank you

Hi David,
You can use the default header and footer of your website in your Brizy templates. Please see this video for the procedure. https://jmp.sh/7NPogC5M

Without deleting my website, the work I've done or doing anything that could harm any of the work we have done so far, can you please advise that why when I click 'use default' does my defaul menu not appear in the brizy design section and not update in the bottom left to say default.
I also don't want the site wide footer, just the header. How can I be sure doing this as per your video, only brings in the header?
It doesn't work for me though.0 -
Hi David,
Let me restate what I have understood. You tried switching to the Default Page Template and at the bottom left, when clicking on the Page icon, it does not say 'Default'. You also do not see the theme header and the theme menu.
A possible reason could be an incompatibility between Brizy and the WordPress theme you are using. These themes work well with Brizy https://www.brizy.io/theme-partners. Another possible reason is a software in your WordPress environment which is interfering with Brizy. Only after an investigation, we can identify the cause behind this behavior.
When selecting the Default Page Template, if you only need the header, you will have to remove the footer from your theme.
