    Hi Tiberiu,

    We have fixed the translation issue in the Belgium project. Kindly check. 

     

    If you encounter this issue in the future with another project, kindly open the specific page in the Brizy Editor, click on the 'Update' button at the bottom right corner and check the translations again.

    Hi Tiberiu

    We apologize for this inconvenience. We are working on fixing this bug. Please update a page before making changes to its translation until we release a fix for this bug.

    You don't have to update every page in a project with 20 pages. If the translation has to be edited in just three pages, update just those three pages. You don't need to update the remaining 17 pages.

    Hi George,

    The problem is that it's affecting all the pages on the website +- 100 pages.

    Tried your suggested method but on some pages the translation disappeared..

    It's not a solution to put the translation every time you make an update..

    Hi Tiberiu,

    Let me define the current bug we have with Brizy Cloud translations so that you understand it better. 

    The translations are working well in your project in the frontend and are available in the editor; however the 'Edit Translation Strings' screen goes blank and it gives the false impression that your translations are missing from the editor; Translations are available in the editor; but are not visible in the editing screen. The bug does not affect availability; rather, it affects only the visibility of translations.

    In a project that has twenty pages and the translation strings are not visible in the editor for all twenty pages, and you wish to modify the translations in three of those pages, you need to update only those three pages to make the translations visible. You can leave the other seventeen pages unaltered knowing that translations exist even though they are invisible.

    When we release a fix for the visibility issue, available translations will be visible in the editor without having to click on the 'Update' button.

    I understand the bug, but already updated some pages, and the translation, doesn't work. Or works halfway, as you can see below, the text is in NL and the button in FR.  And if I go into the translation, it's missing...

    For the French page at https://www.hamstercleaning.be/fr/acerta, kindly provide your translations so that the text can appear in French

     

    I randomly checked a few text strings at https://www.hamstercleaning.be/fr/ and could not find a missing translation. Can you highlight the missing translations in your screenshot so that we can check?

    Hey George,

    Before updating the page, a translation was attempted, but it didn't show up. All the assets on this page were supposed to have translations: https://www.hamstercleaning.be/nl/referenties.

    Hey George,

    I've made a video for you. There definitely was a translation on all website pages. However, if I visit a page that hasn't been updated, I can't manage the translation. And if I update the page, the translation disappears.

    We have not received other reports about missing translation strings. Can you help capture the bug so that we can work on fixing it?

    Please add a few translations that are missing and screen capture as you go. Later on, we will check whether those translations will eventually disappear on their own. If they do, we will have evidence for this bug

    Also noticed the same problem on another website using translation—hamstercleaning.ch. I've updated some pages on that project and some of the translations disappeared. For sure there was a translation into all strings, because it's a recent website and I remember exactly.

    There's another problem that was reported - the blog doesn't have a translation. I know this was fixed, but even after updating the page, the translation still doesn't show up.
