ThemeFuse theme error when editing/creating page
Hello,
I have a website that was built using a theme purchased from Themefuse and recently I have been having problems when attempting to edit/create pages. When attempting to edit or create a page the site now redirects to a 404 error page.
What is your recommendation on fixing this issue? Is there a fix for this or is the theme so old that I should downgrade the Wordpress version?

Hi Franklin,
Thank you for contacting us.
Could you try to reset the Permalinks and see if this will help resolve the issue?
To reset permalinks on WordPress, you can follow these steps:
- Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
- Click on Settings > Permalinks.
- Select a different permalink structure and click Save Changes.
- Re-select the permalink structure you initially had and click Save Changes again.
- After this, try editing one of your pages and see if this works.
Please try this and let me know how it goes.
Best regards,

Hi Ariel, I followed your instructions and changed the permalinks and changed it back, but the error is persisting when editing a page.

Hi Franklin,
Thank you for your cooperation.
Could you please try the following and see if this will help?
- Set your .htaccess to WordPress default by referring to the guidelines provided here: https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/htaccess/
- Also, please update the current PHP to version 8 or higher - https://i.imgur.com/rlDV2TO.png
After making these changes, please verify if you can edit or create new pages.
I am looking forward to your response.
Best regards,

Hi Ariel, 1. Set your .htaccess to WordPress default by referring to the guidelines provided here: https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/htaccess/ I took a look at the .htaccess file, and everything looks fine to me. I attached a copy of the file to this email for you to review. 1. Also, please update the current PHP to version 8 or higher - https://i.imgur.com/rlDV2TO.png PHP for the server has been updated from 7.4 to 8.1 After following your instructions, I still cannot edit pages and the same 404 error appears. I tried doing some of my own troubleshooting and I ran into the below – I don’t know if this will help, but I hope it will help narrow down the cause of the issue. I attempted to edit the page in Safe Mode using the plugin WP Safe Mode, doing so created different errors. * After enabling safe mode, I am now able to edit a page, however I am immediately shown errors. * These are the errors that I see: ** The shortcode fw_raw_code not found. (This appears twice.) ** The shortcode space not found. * I tried ignoring the errors and made/saved edits to the page, but the resulting page became broken, which leads me to believe that these are critical errors. I had to revert my changes. Franklin Bu Web Developer

Hi Franklin,
Thank you for the update.
Upon checking, it appears that Brizy is working properly as demonstrated on this screencast—https://youtu.be/4LPfwcciM8s
It seems that the error "The shortcode fw_raw_code not found" occurred while attempting to edit pages created with Unison. We regret to inform you that support for Themefuse products has been discontinued.
To address this issue, we recommend rebuilding the affected pages using Brizy Builder, which is currently fully supported. If you have any further questions, please let us know.
Best regards,
